raise of VAT from 6% to 19% on culture and art sector

You may have heard something about it in the news: the VAT rate for art and culture will be raised from 6% to 19%. What hasn't been addressed in the media that well is that it doens't just influence the price museum and concert tickets, but also the artists themselves.

Due to this tax change all services of Clown Zassie Entertainment will be charged with 19% VAT as of 1-7-2011. This also counts for already booked performances.

The only exception for this will be our birthday party arrangements: these tariffs have already been adjusted to the 19% VAT from the beginning of the year and will therfore remain the same, even after 1-7-2011
